Sneak Peek Maternity Pics (Take 2)

These are the pictures that my friend Emily took up Rock Canyon trail a few nights ago. I LOVE the difference in the two photoshoots. I love how the styles are different and the settings are different, too. One is more contemporary and one is more classical, which totally shows off my split style. Our closet isn't one style and we have so many different sides to our personalities. The pictures in both posts really portray that.

Thank you SO much Emily, you are talented and so sweet for helping us out!
(For those of you who don't know, this is the same Emily who did the circles in the baby's room! I know, she's a woman of many talents.)

maternity pics (take one)

So my lovely sister and her husband took some maternity pictures for me on Tuesday. Let me tell you that my sister has never taken a photography class, and was using a camera that wasn't hers (thanks Seth and Laurel!). Liz was 'taught' how to use the camera for only 5 mins before we went out to take the pictures. Look at how GREAT they turned out! Here are a few from the photoshoot. More to come later!

Great, huh? Kudos to Liz for the great pictures and thanks Patrick for editing them! The light quickly faded on us so we did a second take last night. My neighbor took us out again for some pictures up near Rock Canyon trail. Look for those soon! :)

getting closer to the end!!

So much has been happening the past few weeks! First, my friends threw me a wonderful baby shower! We forgot to take pictures until mostly everyone had left already! Here's the group of girls and thanks so much to Lacey for throwing it! She was a wonderful host! I had a great time and got some wonderful gifts!

And some pregnancy pics!

Next, my favorite part!! We finally started really decorating the baby's room. Remember the layout plan? Here it is, in action!
Setting up the dots in the right place, and me directing. I couldn't really do much, so thanks to Emily and Trav for doing all the work!
The finished product! I think it turned out SO well. (The red stripe is painted, and the dots are vinyl). It's much better in person though, of course. :) So come see it!

Thanks Emily, you are so talented!!
My parents bought us a bassinet for the baby. We are so relieved to have it, we set put it together and set it up right away!

It's so exciting getting everything ready. I am definitely nesting now. I've washed baby clothes, cleaned, organized and much more. We bought the crib and dresser/changing table but it won't get here for a few more days. THEN I'll have that to look forward to! It's been tons of fun. I will post more pictures when the room is all finished. The baby crib bedding is AWESOME and thanks to my momma for making it! (She is seriously fabulous, folks.) You'll absolutely love it!

I am 37 weeks (which is full term!!). So if I have the baby anytime soon, he'll likely be fine without any help or interventions. It gives me great peace of mind. As always I will keep you posted! :)

a bunch of big bumps

Hello!! Sorry it's been so long! My lovely sister got married (!!!) this past weekend and it has been crazy! I will post pictures of the wedding soon. In the meantime, here are tons of pregnant belly shots. Enjoy!

(Warning, there are 2 pictures of my bare belly in this post. If that grosses you out, or somehow offends you or you think it's weird, then just stop reading here.)

My sister got us all hats to wear for the wedding! It was such a darling idea. We had fun with it.

At "The Steak Center" where Lizzie and Patrick had their rehearsal/family dinner the day before the wedding. Patrick is a chef there and the food is great. You should all go check it out! (Also isn't my sister GORGEOUS? She was such a beautiful bride!!)
See the similarities here between me and Buddha? :)
Liz can't WAIT to be an auntie.

Suspenders: 2 purposes. To keep up my skirt, AND they're comin back into style. Trust me.
I look tired these days, don't I?

No stretch marks so far!! (fingers crossed!)

AND... pregnant friends. Here is my friend Cassie from work! Her baby is due on Sunday!
My darling friend Mel. She already had her baby and named her Astrid. What a cool name, huh? We love her. (This picture was taken a few days before Astrid was born). Mel looks fabulous.
My cousin's wife Kiersten. She was due in 2 weeks, me in 2 months. And I'm bigger?! Look at the shock on my face. Kiersten had her baby recently! She looks amazing, too.

Pretty soon it will be my turn! I'm feeling pretty good, although I get tired easily. Heartburn seems to be my major complaint these days but other than that we are so excited and can't wait for our baby to come!
