Would you rather LOVE and not be loved back?

BE LOVED, but not love the person/people?
This question was asked at lake powell this year. I answered the question promptly by saying that I would much rather LOVE and not be loved back than to have someone/people love me but not love them back.
I get more joy out of loving and showing love than I do by being loved.
What are your thoughts? Which would you rather, and why?

I'd rather love and not be loved back. I've done it both ways, and I'd rather be the one doing the loving. It just feels better. it's awesome when it goes both ways. :) Love YOU
Mindy hates this question. Mindy wants everyone to be loved by the people they want to be loved by and also love them. Isn't it wonderful that it doesn't have to be either or? :)
