Okay, just kidding. This whole house hunting business is tough! The looking part is easy, but when it comes to offering, counter-offering, etc... I just want it to be over with already and have it be OUR house!
We put an offer on a house back in March and it didn't work out. We recently put an offer on another house (this one was better) and that too didn't work out. For several reasons, we didn't accept the seller's counter-offer. The reason why we didn't accept the offer is quite a long story, but very interesting so if you want to know, I will tell you. (It involves prayer, deliberation, discussion and sex offenders. Am I peaking your interest?)
I'm not even excited about looking for houses any more. I am very quickly getting discouraged. So much for this being a "buyers" market.
Nevertheless I'll keep my head up because we are fortunate to even be in this position. I'll let you know how it goes after we do more walk-throughs later. For now, I'll just relish in the fact that I even have a house to live in.
