Why? Well, this is why. I got my wisdom teeth out today, and for some reason I thought the nurses and Travis new sign language. So I persisted to sign to everyone. Even if they didn't understand. Dang, even when I'm doped up and sedated, I can still produce good ASL. haha. Travis recorded me, and I have NO recollection of ANY of the following events. I "came to" after we got my prescriptions and came home.
I REALLY hope you think this is as funny as I do. I was laughing so hard! I look so stupid, and I risk everyone making fun of me here, but I couldn't let this one slide. I HAD to post it on my blog, even though I am super embarrassed. Plus, it's hilarious watching me sign, and practically falling asleep standing up.
Listen carefully, and watch til the very end, even through the boring parts. If you don't watch it all the way through, you'll miss something. :)

Oh, and if you don't know sign language, get with someone who does. It's funnier that way if you know what I'm signing. Well, actually, it's funny either way. I showed it to my dad and he was laughing too. (And my dad doesn't laugh often. So.... it's a guaranteed laugh, or at least a giggle.)

I was freaking out when Travis started driving away and you didn't have your seat belt on.
That was hilarious! I can't believe you let him record you. And I can't believe that Travis doesn't know more ASL, I'm a little disappointed in you.
What is Travis going to do when if you are on your death bed saying your last words and he doesn't know what you're saying?
My favorite parts:
-the look on your face every time you sign "hurt"
-your insistence on knowing when you can eat
- You holding out an F, Travis guesses O, the look on your face is awesome!
-Me, wondering the whole time what you would be like as a pothead
-the fact that you went left handed to fingerspell HURT
-the whole thing!! Too funny! Travis is going to be a great dad :)
This is Tyler posting... this was AWESOME! Who's idea was this? If it was Travis' then I applaud his husband ways. I would totally do that to Lacey, but she already had her wisdom teeth removed. Sad though, I know it hurts. I was in total pain and I had two of my sockets fill with pus and it tasted so gross! Feel better and say "hi" to Travis for me.

yes, it was Travis' idea, but he talked with me before doing it, and I said that would be fine. I was curious to see what I would be like, too! I remember in high school people were always trying to get me to drink and do drugs, because they wanted to see what I would be like. Well, this is pretty much it. :)

I gotta learn sign language! I did get quite a bit though, so ya'll gotta give me some credit for the bits I got since i dont know sign language. I actually do want to learn, but dont have time to take a class. Kat teaches me bits and pieces so i know a bit, but i am really slow. I wished I could have got more video of her, she was a real hoot!

Oh my goodness Kat, that is the best! I was cracking up the whole time. Then laughing again at the comments. I was going to complement Travis and the nurse for catching that much, so I'm glad Travis is proud of himself, he should be. So happy you posted that, You look adorable! Aw I love ya!
Wow!! i agree with everything Rachel said, and i would like to add that i laughed really hard when Travis thought you were doing "chicken wings"! I love it!
when i got my wisdom teeth out i told Mark he HAD to video me so i could see how i was. But my doctor used laughing gas and i hated how i felt so i stopped after about 30 seconds. pretty disappointing!
