Do you remember learning specific things and who you learned them from? I can recall vivid memories from my life when I learned things from certain people.
I remember when I was around 9 or 10 I was eating lunch, and my mom's friend Terry Carota was over, and after eating my food, I was like, "Wow, that food went right through me, I have to go to the bathroom right now!"
Terry sweetly taught me about digestion, and how it takes hours to go through your body.
I remember vocab words like capricious, and vacuous, and flapdoodle that I learned from my freshman English teacher, Mr. Rooth.
I remember in my 10th grade history class when I learned that a rhinoceros is NOT a dinosaur. I had to learn that the embarassing way, when I seriously asked my teacher if jurassic park has actually happened, and they found a way to bring dinosaurs to life again. Don't worry, the whole class laughed at me... including my teacher.
I learned how to spell "congratulations" from my 7th grade language arts teacher, Ms. Larabell.
Robert Verhauz taught me the difference between "miss" - as in, I missed the bus and "miss" - as in, I miss you, and how to sign them in ASL.
Rhonda taught me to harmonize really well and sing songs with her.
When dating Travis I learned that Hong Kong is actually a country and not just a city in China.
This is just a list off the top of my head of things I've learned from specific people. I'm sure if I think really hard I can come up with more!
