ridiculous! I don't even know why I went!

Apparently callbacks wasn't even that big of a deal. EVERYONE got called back. Psshh!

So they taught us a dance routine, and I nailed that just fine.

Then the singing. They had me sing for Josephine, who is the main character, but she is a SOPRANO SUPREME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am NOT a soprano at all. I am an ALTO. Josephine sings a HIGH C in the song they taught us!!! WHAT THE HECK!!????

Apparently, Buttercup (the character who IS an alto) is supposed to be a portly plump woman, and I don't have the right body type. What the crap?! I'm so sad!

So, of course I didn't get a part, because I don't sing soprano!! And, to make it worse, they let us go in front of everyone. They're like.... "Now, this doesnt' mean that you didn't get a major role, it's just that we've seen enough for tonight."

Honestly? Every girl that stayed got to be paired up with a guy, and sing together, and then read together. They would NEVER cast a major role based solely off of singing talent. They would have them read, as well. I know because I've done it before when I got the major roles in other plays.

Well, bigtime bummer. I wish I could have stayed and read (since acting is my main talent, and singing and dancing are only so-so).... but I guess I wasn't a good fit for the show! That's ok, I'm not meant for opera anyway. haha!

Better luck next time! The next show is a twilight parody (which would be suuuper funny) so I'm gonna audition for that one in a couple months. We'll see! Thanks for reading! Sorry I didn't have better news!
